Phone Issue

CC Communications is aware of the active issue. Telephone calls, either made over traditional call paths, Voice over Internet Protocol, 911 Trunks, or cellular, often need to interconnect between various carriers. Interconnection does not occur in Fallon. Voice traffic of cellular, 911, and VoIP calls ride a regional telecommunications network to Reno and California to reach other carrier’s switches, and thereafter returns to Fallon to complete a call. When other carriers have network issues along that path, calls may not return and be completed in Fallon. This is an issue that CC Communications has no control over. We continually monitor the issue and work with upstream carriers to isolate and resolve the issue as soon as possible. However, when the issue is off our network, resolution is subject to timelines and efforts of other carriers.
